I'm thinking next month would be the prime time for Spanish mackerel off the PA jetties. The only thing holding me back is the vacation crowds, or do the mobs thin out after Labor Day?

Port A thins out a lot in September... The Bull Red run is usually in full swing in Mid to late September also.

I've caught them at the Mansfield jetties in Oct but I do think they thin out further north

I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.

All part of the game, it thins but tourists will still be clogging the arteries of that jetty. You can always hop the jetty taxi to the North Side for slightly less crowds!

I'm afraid you've lost me. What are "jetty arteries?"
