I have been talking to Leviathan Rods about a custom build. They use Gary Loomis made blanks. He says he would put them up against NRX... thoughts?

Are you just looking for the most expensive blank and components that are made to make a rod?

I have a worm light jig rod, squarebill rod, and a Carolina Rig rod from Leviathan and I think Brad has six or seven. One of the best rods Ive ever used. Im wanting to get a Leviathan swimbait rod.

Would you say they are comparable to NRX?

Slick looking rod and you can't beat the price. Approximate prices for the components ..... Reel Seat = $39.22 Grips = $18.88 Eyes = $29.54 Blank (assuming it's a North Fork Composite model # IM-MB705-1) = $197.73 Total components (other than thread and epoxy) = $285.37 Their price on the website for model T3-C71MH = $349.99 difference of $64.62 I build rods and I wouldn't build a custom rod for $64 bucks! Heck of a deal and great components!

Unless ur buying blanks from over seas ur not going to make much on a Custom rod Ive figured out or ur pricing them extremely high to make a little money. Some of these rod builders arent in it for the money at the end of the day.
