95% of my fishing is in the early mornings but I had a chance to go yesterday after 4:00. There was a nice breeze and it was not awful hot so I hit the lake.

Found several brush piles that were loaded up with fish but I could not get them to bite.
4 hours of fishing only caught 12 fish and those were one here and 1 there.

I have been having trouble out there since mid June, had trouble finding them but even when I did couldnt hardly catch them, I was doing really well, but when the water got real hot its like they shut off, havent been the last 3 weeks but was going to try this weekend.

I was out this morning and you are right brush piles are holding fish but hard to get them to bite. The ones I caught wanted the jig to be slowly dragged over the pile. I also found some on timber about 12 ft down.
