Well.....
Like the topic says. The bracket broke....and it's gone. I have no paperwork showing the number. And I don't know it.
I know it happens more often on boat trailers from the water pushing it back n forth.
What do I do?

If it's got a VIN number you can bring it in and the county should be able to cross reference to your license.

I lost one also. DMV looked me up by name. Replacement plate was $7.

Go to trailer shop and get a metal flapper. I had a plastic one mounted to my fender. When I broke I just ditched the flapper all together.

My trailer has two small chains hanging down with bolts through the plate. Works great! Hehe

just went through the same thing and cost me 6.50 at the dmv and got a new tag #. stinks it was only 2 months until it expired. oh well.

That is a whole lot cheaper than the seat I lost last weekend.
