I am from Mineral Wells, is there anywhere close to here that can balance boat trailer tires using either the Lug Centric Adaptter aka Pin Plate Adapter? Thanks in advance for any info.

I wished I new what lug centric adaptor tire balancing meant? My aluminum wheels I had balanced at our local tire shop. Glad to see someone else prefers to have their trailer tires balanced.

Lug Centric balancing means the tire is mounted on the wheel balancing machine by lug nuts and not by a center adapter like a regular automotive tire. Lots of trailer tires are centered by the lug nuts and not the center of the wheel as on automotive vehicles. Without the special adapter for the balancing machine a trailer tire wheel will wobble and never balance correctly. Hope i explained it good enough as I learned all this from the internet the last couple of days. i was never aware of this.

Thank you for the explanation. There is one other way to do tire balancing which is superior to any other method that I'm aware. They high spin the tire on your axle and shave the rubber much like a brake lathe for a truly round tire. The smoothest ride I have ever seen along with extreme tire life. Thanks again.
