I was out practicing this morning with my buddy. Every morning when I get ready to head out the door with my fly rod, my 15lb cat named Orbit is waiting to go out and play. (Long story on his name...)

Well, this morning he was goofing off and I decided that he was going to be my next �target.� He was about 70 feet away and laying down when I cast. The yarn went right over his back on the �lay down� and he jumped in the air. Proud of myself, I giggled and l lost eye contact. The next think I know my drag is pulling. I looked up and my loving cat is running back to the front door of the house with his new prize in his mouth.

He was not happy when he had to give my yarn back. But I had a good laughed.

At least you had the tug and pull on lawn casting. How high did the cat jump? Funny when they get a fright.

Sill cat cleared 8-10 in off the grass.
