Pot bellied pig

pretty little cat

I like having more than one rods, but it seems like one gets on there is another one.

The weather lowered in temp. and made for a pleasant morning. We managed 7 carp and two channel cats. I mixed up a new pack bait mix with pineapple snow cone favoring and soaked can corn. The pack bait works far better than the soaked canned pineapple corn. Pack bait with pineapple seemed to work well on carp and the powered Chocolate always gets bites. Just beware of people walking there dogs, for some reason the chocolate pulls them right over. My next favoring mix is coconut, thought about mixing it with some favored Jello.
I have fished all over North America and find fish every where. It just seems that one as to able to adapt. This new carp fishing has changed my fishing style. I find this bank fishing style to be relaxing and budget minded. The wife laughs at the cost of my carp fishing (not including gas less than $25.00 spent this June; mostly snow cone flavoring);to some of the my adventurous trips that has been relatively costly over the years.

Nice going! I love it when you can hardly keep a rod in the water! Carp fishing, just like any other fishing, can certainly get expensive. I caught the bug for carp fishing and saved up a bit to buy myself some European carp gear. It's completely unnecessary, but I love my carp! If you plan on releasing your fish, I'd look into getting some sort of mat for them to keep their slime coat intact and to protect them if they flop around. I've got a ~$60 European mat, but something as simple as a cheap yoga mat will work wonders. Just keep it wet and Mr. and Mrs. carp will thank you for it!

Catch and release. The dream - to catch one of every species of Freshwater fish in our great state! If only I can resist Carp...
