Seems like a lake that offers a variety of opportunity. I've been on it 3 times, I believe. Once was for the Brother Blue tourney with a buddy and two times were just for fun with the same buddy - one of those trips resulted in my friend's PB on a wake bait and the other was a short, late afternoon trip with no fish. It's obviously got BIG fish in respectable numbers. To me it seems like a good offshore pond for bigguns. Trees, roadbeds, shallow pockets with timber, feeder creeks, what do you like best about JP?

Too many jet ski's and drunks for me. Been there twice, my first and last time. Steez McQueen loves it though.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

It's my favorite "deep water bite" lake.

It's also my favorite boat ramp entertainment lake. No other lake compares when it comes to ignorant boat owners.

Haha. Joe Pool is a hard lake to learn. I'm not surprised that the lack of help is what it is.....

I'll give you two "community holes" that hold big fish.

The saddle of rocks that extend off the dam, just south east of the pump station. Sit in 10-12 ft and throw a c rig in 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock l, etc.

The other is the HUGE brush piles in from ofnthe old cedar hill park marina.

Use a watermelon red lizard or a Houdini colored fluke.

There ya go soldier.

The other 9million spots you gotta find on your own.

Better hurry up and get there fish, there'll be 20 boats on each spot by tomorrow morning.

I'd help you but after a couple of years I thought that I had it figured out and now this year it is as if it changed on me. I am having virtually no luck out there day or night. I don't even look forward to going any more. Good luck on the holes. that brush pile always has a boat sitting on it.
