My biggest complaint is usually the title track is strongest song on the album. With Lifers not so much.

My biggest complaint is usually the title track is strongest song on the album. With Lifers not so much.
It's a great CD all in all. you It's a cool song. I dig the idea of it. But yeah, not the strongest song on there. I Liked Holy Water a lot. Must be the Whiskey is a great song. A couple others I liked A lot, but don't remember the titles just yet.

He surely didn't disappoint with the latest album, but then again he hasn't had a bad one yet. I saw him a couple years ago in Roscoe, but with his ever-growing popularity I doubt he'll play the little venues like that again. Dude definitely has the talent, when he teams up with Ward Davis or Paul Cauthen it is awesome.

Never heard of him until seeing his name in OT a year or two ago. Only jinks I knew was the one where you owe me a coke. This is where I heard of him. Checked out a couple songs. The more I listened the more I Liked. As a rule, I'm not a huge fan of country. I mean growing up in Texas one can't avoid country music. Just have always been a metal head. His songwriting is what pulled me in. He puts it together like no one else in country does. Has that edginess that I dig. He's now one of my top five favorite artists.

It won't be to bad once the sun goes down. There is always that beautiful trinity river to swim in to keep you cool. Mrs Chicken ain't about: 1) the Trinity 2) the heat 3) sitting in grass 4) flying insects 5) drunk rednecks If it was at an indoor venue, I could drag her out there.

Just bought tickets for Louisville September 15th. Nikki Lane is opening. Wish it was Whitey Morgan. But oh well. Now I expect him to announce a Cincinnati show tomorrow.

Nikki Lanes act will be one of the strongest in the lineup, make sure not to miss her. Singer/songwriter with a lot of attitude and a smoking band.

Personally I was underwhelmed. To me, there are only a few good songs on this album...def not his best for me. Best new album to drop this month was Lucero Among the Ghosts!!
