At 3 pm Sunday at 108�, I ventured onto the lake and located the fatties on the island and at the hump at the sailboat point. Man, they wore us out. It was so hot we decided to swim and drink a little beer. I was sporting my new fishing crocs. LOL

I�m wondering if afternoons are better because mornings they seem to sometimes not be pushed up shallow then when I�m leaving at 9 or 10 sometimes I find huge schools pushed up! I plan to try a few evening trips this week just to see how it compares to my morning trips last week. Few weeks ago we couldn�t stop catching them in the evening and mornings just haven�t been that way and I�ve had to work harder to put numbers in the boat recently

Years ago when Lake Proctor produced much like FPH does today, some of our best trips were during the heat of the day on the hottest days of the year. Maybe coincidence.....but maybe not.
