I would not recommend any additive to an automatic transmission. Add a transmission cooler but no additives. If it needed that additive, the manufacturer would have put it in.

no way. I used to be a trans specialist for GM dealer. Use only the recommended trans fluid from the mfg. additives are just bandaids and most the time do more harm then good. I have seen valve bodies clogged up from additives to the point where they had to be replaced during the rebuild!

instead of an additive, you should make sure you have a heavy duty transmission cooler. heat is the number 1 killer of transmissions, besides lack of fluid. Trans fluid is used mainly for heat removal and lubrication. clean/good fluid has the lubricity, so adding a HD cooler aids in heat dispersion.

The transmission fix to that is to bolt an Allison behind it...
