Fished Little Caney on Fork Monday... on the water at noon, off at dark. Better than usual for me. Caught them in 7 feet of water on spinnerbait and swimbait where the grass met the stumps. Spoke to a fisherman that said he counted 14 baby alligators (foot longs) earlier this spring. Big one of the day, a little over 21 inches.. most 16 to 18 inches. All slow rolled while tapping bottom. Same fish.

I was kinda disappointed I didn't see any yesterday... but when I was up against the bank where the vegetation was another foot out of the water, I heard one and decided to back off.
