Hello,

In need some help please. My hydro jack plate got stuck in the highest position somehow and the switch at the console shorted out/corroded (must have got rained on when it was at the shop, normally the boat is in my garage). Until I get a new switch installed is there anyway to manually lower the jack plate so I can at least get on the lake? Motor is too high to run on pad as I will not be able to keep the engine cool enough.

Hope there is some help out there, thanks!

You should have two solenoids that will allow you to lower your motor.
Trace the wiring. Normally somewhere in your rear compartment they mount them. Shorting out the two wires should make the motor run.
The unit I have has blue and green wires. I think the blue wire is for down movement.

you can take the blue and green wires and hook them directly to the battery to make the plate go down.

blue is up and green is down. hook green to pos and blue to neg. it'll go down.

(i'm talking about the wires that come from the jack plate motor) you'll be bypassing the relay harness
