I had a couple of the early versions of the Omen Black. IMO they were awesome rods for the $. Unfortunately I broke both of them on a hook set about 3 months apart. They replaced both of them and even threw in a cap on both returns, no questions asked. They are still in my rotation without issue.

I had the original omen and snapped it on hookset. Switched over to new company for rods but love the reels still.

I've had a 7' M Fate Chrome for several months. I really like the action, guides, and sensitivity. Caught a few good size (3lb+) bass with no problems. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

They are decent. My only complaint is that I have broken two of them boat flipping fish in the 3-4lb range which I feel shouldn't happen.

I have a bunch of the Envy blacks and they are my favorite blanks. Best action for a 7'3" H in my opinion. But it sucks that they don't make them anymore. And when they break ( and the will break, or start to splinter at the seam, trust me) they send you Muse Black as replacements, which aren't bad rods in their own right but don't offer the same actions and just aren't nearly the same. If they still made the Envy Black line I would be a regular customer (even with them breaking) but they don't make them anymore so I've moved on...

Add me to the list of snap on hookset. Mine broke at the butt end below the reel seat. Since I bought mine secondhand I didnt contact for replacement options. Still have it in the garage. Was nice while it lasted!

Have one of their Concept reels for flipping since it doesn't hold much line. Its not a Shimano nor Garcia Revo MGX caliber but very doable.Love 'em!! Have 2 Black Envys waiting on the new version. http://www.13fishing.com/envy-black/

I've broken 3 rods in the last year they all snapped in the same place four guides down from the tip. I'd spend my money elsewhere if I were you.
