The Fort Worth Marshall's were out checking boats diligently yesterday, several of the tournament guys were inspected just before takeoff including myself.. plus there was a Marshall boat up in the river checking folks and monitoring the no wake zone. Lets all support the fine men and women of the Ft Worth Marshall/Lake Patrol and be courteous and polite when they're out there. If you see they are checking boats go ahead and get all of your stuff out and ready, it makes the whole process go very quickly and smoothly, this gets you back to fishing faster and makes the officers job a little easier as well. I always welcome their presence, makes for safer parks and a safer lake. Lets do our part to not be the problem out there, make sure you have all your required equipment and lights functional before you ever head to the lake.

I do have a special request... we are fortunate enough to have a pretty decent population of Alligators in Lake Worth. Guys, please dont hook the gators... they may chase a topwater bait a little but for the most part they arent going to disturb your fishing. Just leave em be please.
