If you were only allowed to bring along 3 lures for fishing summertime in Texas, what would you choose? I'll start it off:
Buzzbait for early morning, Carolina worm for later and deeper, Neko for skunk prevention.

I'm sure I would want a topwater at times but if its limited to just 3 lures I wouldn't use the topwater much past the first couple hours.

Yep, the topwater limits your timing and usage more than the others on your list. I'd be interesting to put out a spreadsheet of votes to see which ones come out as the "favorite" of this community.
