I am looking for recommendations for a crappie guide that can take 4-5 out on either 9-7 or 9-8. We are renting a lake house for a few days to celebrate my dads 80th birthday and since we haven't fished cc in decades thought this would be the way to go.

Thank you very much Finaddict for the support. It is greatly appreciated! Allen and Chris are good people, but that Lane fella....I don't know about him.

Markchat, I'll be very upfront with you. September is arguably the toughest month of the year on Cedar Creek for crappie with the possible exception of January. Typically speaking, we average around 25-30 crappie per half day trip that time of year, and we have to push hard to get what we can. All that being said, I will work my tail off to put fish in your boat, and do have Friday the 7th open.

I don't want to take the wind out of your sails, I just want to be transparent from what I've seen since 2010. I'm a under promise/over deliver kind of guide. Getting to celebrate your dad's 80th birthday on the water is going to make for a very special morning regardless of fishing, and I know the memories that you're going to make will be priceless. If I can be of any help, please let me know. 817-266-9811
