My barber is an absolute sunfish fan. She would like to have a mess to eat. Personally, I chase hybrids and sandbass and don’t mess with these, that said this may be a fun adventure for my girls. Any recommendations on where to go?

Thanks,
Eric

Joe Pool lake and Lake Fork would be my guess. Never fished either lake but Fork has a great bass population and where ever there is a good healthy bass population you are going to have a good healthy Bluegill population. We have a couple of anglers who post in this section one of them is Smithaven. He fishes Joe Pool a lot and targets the sunfish such as Bluegill. You may want to send him a PM. He would be able to tell you more about that lake. Also Lake Fairfield is a good Bluegill lake. There is a guide that goes by the Waco Kid who just about always catches a ton of big Bluegill. He also is a Crappie Guide. He has a web site and he also post a lot in the Crappie Section. You might want to give him a call. I think he is in the Dallas area. His prices are reasonable. I personally have not fished with him but have heard he is a very good guide. Hope this helps you sum. Give us a post on how you do! thumb
