 Whats the deal with grapevine?

Cant seem to consistently catch the sandies. When I can catch a few they are 4-8 inchers. Ive tried the big jump on the north in and the point around the island quite a bit and cant seem to find any fish anywhere else. Tried slabs and little white grubs and crankbaits. Any help is much appreciated!

If you want consistency wait 2 months then fish. They are a lot more predictable then.

a lot of schooling fish sat morning by meadowmere park. Between 8 to 10 am mostly small but caught a few might have went 10 inches. Myself and 1 guide boat were only ones fishing for them.

Went this evenig and found tons of them stacked up. Caught close to 70 in an hour and all them over ten with a a few 14 inchers

We did well with them Saturday evening east side of Murrell 25 fow, and some on top after the shad--slabs and a zara spook knockoff. Couldn't find them Sunday evening.
