How is the daily launch fee paid on Lake Arlington? Is there a drop box?
What is the preferred boat ramp to use?
Thanks in advance.

There is a drop box (honor box) @ the Bowman spring ramp & i`m willing to bet there`s one @ McCray park ramp as well. The office @ Richard Simpson is where you can go inside and pay for daily use ($5.00) or get annual permits. $30.00 per year.$15.00 for Seniors.IMHO Richard Simpson is the best ramp.

They are in the process of building a new lake office at the Richard Simpson park so the parking lot for for trailer parking is about a block walk from the launch ramp. Both the Richard Simpson and Bowman Spring ramps are good multi lane ramps but the Bowman Spring courtesy dock is rather small. Never launched at the McCray park ramp so cant speak to it. If your a minnow fisherman, they can be purchased at Exxon station on Arkansas Lane about 1/2 mile before you get to the Richard Simpson park ramp. The launch fees went up this year. Residents means you live in the city of Arlington.
BOAT PERMITS Residents $45 Non-Residents $60 Kayak Fee $30 Seniors $25 Daily Fee $5 Weekend Fee $10*
