Took a trip down to East Texas a couple weeks ago and did some shell cracker and gill fishing! Ill let the piks tell yall how much fun it was tuggin against these lil bullies of the shallows!
Katchin krappie...doin surgeries(filleting)...and givin hott grease baths until krunchy and golden brown is what it's all about!!!

Yep, the East Texas lakes are really producing a lot of bream lately, especially since the gills are on they beds. I caught 64 fly fishing Holbrook three weeks ago and 40 the week after. Now, I have enough in the freezer to last me several months.
