Leaving tomorrow for Park City, Utah, while most of the trip will be filled with baseball games there will be some free time. Planning to stop in Moab on the way up but really don't know much about it.
We are an outdoor family, love to raft, hike, fish, horseback ride, you name. Any suggestions or can't miss things to do? While I know all that will be available in the mountains this time of year narrowing it down to the best will be appreciated.

Take some money, it's not cheap. The coolest thing I ever did there was we toured several olymplc event sights. The ski jumps were by far the coolest.

Take a ride out towards Sundance. Have lunch and see Angel Falls. Go the other way and follow the river upstream as far as you can. Theres a little smokehouse up there to visit.

Moab is awesome but will be scorching hot this time of year. Eat Italian at Pasta Jay's...it's excellent. Try to hit the Arches Nat'l Park. But again...it's hot; take water if you leave your vehicle for any length of time.

Pack a Leatherman-type multi-tool in case your arm gets wedged in a dislodged boulder.

Check out the Rifle Golf range. I cant remember how far it is out of town but I went with Swarovski a few years back and had a blast. https://www.facebook.com/rifelgolf/

Nope!!! It says on their link that is is closed down after 12 years. Spirit Ridge Nation - We here at Spirit Ridge Rifle Golf would like to say thank you for the 12 amazing years that we have had the opportunity to shoot together. It is with mixed emotions that we inform you that the rumors are true we have shut down the facility.

Well, I would advise not trying to do that then. That was a cool place to shoot. Thats the first place I shot to 1000 yards.

Take a small spinning rod and a fly rod along with some flies/streamers and some small Rapala floating minnows. Get a fishing license and drive up HWY 150 into the Wasatch/Uintas. Beautiful area stays cool in the summer. Lots of small lakes, rivers, and streams.
