Fishing was insane this week. That north wind really and the bite going crazy! I used both pink and chartreuse jig heads tipped with minnows to catch all of our fish. I was also able to put some of my favorite new Wally Marshall rods into my customers hands and they absolutely loved them! Going into this week my mornings were pretty full. But now due to a reschedule I have Tuesday morning and Thursday morning available for half days. I also have some openings for working mans evening/afternoon trips Monday Wednesday and Thursday as of now. The afternoons have been awesome fishing too! If anyone is ready to go, give me a shout at 9402301901. Thanks guys!!

Would that rod be the Lews Pro Series with cork?

It's the Wally Marshall Signature Series IM6. Rod. My favorite!

Hi Cody, I am a long time reader, but new TFF member. I fish for crappie on RR frequently. My neighbor says you mostly fish up at buck creek in timber this time of year. I am out on the main lake on brush piles. We've been doing really well, too, but I am curious on the windy days if Buck Creek would be easier. Are you running your trips at Buck Creek right now, and if so, I might be interested in taking a trip with you to see your strategy.

Yes it's way better to get out of the wind! I go out of buck creek 98% of the time.
