I'm here in Colorado with some time on my hands. Have seen Pikes Peak, Royal Gourge and stuff around Colorado Springs. It's really hot and dry.

Would like to see some wildlife, deer, elk, big horn sheep and such.

Anybody been any place they really enjoyed seeing outside here in the past?

A fence company could make a killing up here right now.

8' chain link with razor ribbon as far as the eye can see.

I thought they were building new prisons for awhile.

Take in a concert at Red Rocks. Spoiled for life...

Climb one of the 14'ers near the Denver area. Get to the trail head no later than 7 a.m. and you will see some wildlife on your way up.

Go to Cripple Creek behind Pikes Peak and gamble your money away.

Once you've lost all your dough, take the Phantom Canyon Rd. down to Royal George City. A ride you'll never forget.

I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

Great Sand Dune National Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, or look up some moderate trails and go for a hike. You will be surprised what you see, just on the trail.

Phantom Canyon road is best driven in a Lincoln Town car. smile

We did this a few years back , I guarantee it needed new shocks when we were done, smile

and yes , it is a memorable drive.

I hear the elk are pretty abundant in Estes Park. I've never been there but know a few people who go regularly and they say they are everywhere. Had pictures of huge 6x6 bulls roaming around crowded areas without a care in the world and feeding them by hand.
