Person/celebrity (other than God, Jesus...etc.) that would know you by name on sight?
I will start. For me...I’d probably say Brooks Robinson.
***Note: I would like for this to be among the most serious posts ever to occur on the OT. Since that has been stated, I feel confident there will be no shenanigans in this thread.

Not that either are huge celebrities but it would probably be Jason Eady or Adam Hood.

I think he would remember, we both had the same first name (different spelling) and got paired together as a twosome for a round of golf in Miami.

I would say T-man, but I don't think that he had a clue who I was when I was talking with him a couple of days ago when I picked up some brisket. It was delicious as always.

I almost got a kiss from Daisy the blonde on Dukes of Hazard TV show...
back in 1980 I was a finalist in the national marketing awards for malls and shopping centers...they had a ceremony in Los Angeles much like the Oscar awards where they have a celebrity up on stage who opens the envelope and say the "the winner is".... right before they had Daisy up there on stage presenting some lesser awards and I was pretty certain I was gonna win and get a kiss from a damn beautiful woman....somehow they announced the finalist then she announced me as the winner but by the time I made my way up on the stage,Daisy had disappeared and that little skinny runt Horshak from the TV show "welcome back kotter" handed me my award...(and he talked through his nose just like he did on TV)….

Donald Trump. He sent me a personal signed letter where he called me by my first name and said. "Dear Bob, thank you for your contribution and helping me make America great again." Sincerely, Donald Trump. So yes, I'm going with that for my final answer.

J.D. Souther singer, songwriter and actor and Mark King lead guitar player for Hinder are both my first wifes cousins. Barry Switzer, is a good friend of my Dad who was also a football coach and wizard of the wishbone Other well known coaching friends were the late great Spike Dykes and Gary Gaines. All of who I had met and got to know.

Michael Martin Murphey. We've known each other for 65 years. Went to elementary school and jr. hi. together and were in the Boy Scouts together. I was with him the day he got his first guitar as a birthday gift from his grandfather.

Nolan Ryan, Blake Shelton and Ted Nugent for sure. Hunted with Blake a few times, Ted a lot, and even though I haven’t seen Nolan in years he spent a lot of time out here at one time and Imran my bird dogs for his hunts many times. Last time he was here I saw him in the Beehive and he came over to table to visit.

As far as fame to the general public goes, a few professional football and baseball players, one basketball player, and several racecar drivers. Most of all of those have been clients of mine over the years, but a few of those I've met and known outside of business.

Just a bunch of bass pros that no one outside the bass section would recognize. A couple of NFL players. Roger Creager. Herbert Hunt. George P. Bush.

Former Rangers Pitcher Jeff Russell. Coached his daughter Carley on a softball team for a number of seasons. Jeff's wife was my assistant coach. All of his kid's were good athletes. Both his boy's played professional baseball, and his oldest boy James was with the Cub's for a while.

I went to school in Crane with Gary and Spike was my neighbor in Big Spring in the late 60's/early 70's

Wait a minute! We knew Calvin Murphy way back in Houston when the boy was a baby. He ran a great day care on Westpart out near Hwy 6. He’s a great guy. We probably wouldn’t recognize each other now days.
Do y’all know who Calvin is?

Eddie Claypool and Johnny Ray. Eddie is one of the most well known bow hunters in the nation, pretty sure at one time he had more animals in the book than any man alive. I think we started hunting and fishing together at the age of 6, our parents were great friends, went to church together, started first grade and graduated high school together. Johnny and I started playing baseball together in little league, he went on to be the greatest 3 sport athlete to ever come out of our tiny high school. He was set on baseball as a very young child because his father played big league, but I always thought baseball was his weakest sport. He was recruited by EVERYONE in football and basketball, but chose baseball and played on the first Arkansas team to ever go to the College World Series. Drafted by the Astros, traded to the Pirates and played 2nd base with them for many years. Also the Angels at the end of his career. They both are lifelong friends and as good as gold.

If Trebor Neil chimes in y'all gonna feel inadequate.
2 Thessalonians 1:6-10 In these verses, there are dire consequences for NOT obeying the gospel. What the world claims as "saved" isn't gonna cut it! Learn what it is, in an eye opening true story, "Muscle and a Shovel", by Michael Shank.

George Strait and I roped in the same circles back in the day. Had a few beers with him back then. We've crossed paths a few times over the years through horses and ropings. He's not on my speed-dial or anything, but he says howdy whenever we meet.
When I was showing Quarter Horses I knew both Sam and Carol Rose, in the 80's. I think it was Carol who paid my horse's entry into an AQHA team roping event in OK City to build the class up for more points. Even though the horse had never team roped, and Carol was riding him, he won the class. Both the Rose brothers were hilariously gentlemanly about it. My horse got the points but they refused to accept the entry fee back. My horse took Heart of Texas AQHA high point that year. We crossed paths at several shows after that and always laughed about it. I guess the Rose brothers are Texas horse circle famous. Sam is an AQHA judge now, I think Carol is as well, and has some fantastic stock still.
I also knew Terry Bradshaw through horses. Pretty sure he'd remember me. I showed a few of his halter horses when I was a kid. Kids who can show a horse well in an adult class almost always win. Whenever the Circle 12 was at the show he'd hunt down my Dad to see if I was available. I usually only showed in youth classes back then, so I always was. I never rode any of his horses, but at halter, even his studs were like puppies on a string and showed very well. I won his horses a lot of points and, eventually, him a lot of money in them. I'm pretty sure he'd cross a room to shake my hand today.
I met Jay Novacek at an autograph signing years ago. I'd never met him, but when I said my name he knew who I was. That was kinda' cool.

Alful good reading here, just resting, getting ready for my birthday the end of this month, gonna take me some time to figure the birth date. 7/22/1932.. Guys if you have lived and been active at all, a lot has passed, just think of all that was not yet here when I arrived , and the changes I have seen, Having been Military, Political, Motion Pictures , extensive world travel, World Trade associations, and a whole lot of booze involved, things and people happen. Don't open to many people, except for Jackie Kennady, and he's heard most of it while fishing. Sober!!

Met Calvin Murphy at a restaurant in Houston. One of the cooks was a huge fan so I introduced him to Calvin. Calvin totally blew him off and wouldn't even autograph a Rockets hat. Dude is a total P.O.S. he was later fired by the Rockets when he was accused of sexually abusing five of his daughters.
