Had a vault hub blow out on me yesterday and my leaf spring snapped in the process. Anybody know of any local vendors that sell both? I'm in Fort Worth and the trailer is a 2013 for a Triton 19SE. Thanks in advance!

Leaf springs are a bit of a strange animal. There are a few more options than meet the eye. I ended up calling the trailer manufacturer, providing the serial number, and they sent everything that was needed for the replacement.

That's what I think I'm going to do this go-round. Last year I had a leaf spring on the other side snap and I couldn't find an exact replacement locally so I had one made and it doesn't quite line up just right.

This is not local, but I have ordered leaf springs from them before and was able to find the exact match for my trailer.

Anything wrong with greasing the leaf springs? Does that have any negative effect?

You may want to contact McGill's in Lewisville. They do great work

No. When I fished Sabine and Calcasieu weekly I sprayed my springs with used motor oil regularly.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Redneck Trailer Supplies may have it. I think they have a location in Arlington. We use the one in Sulpher Springs. They usually have most things in stock. With that said you never know about boat trailer parts. Find some pretty rare components on boat trailers sometime.
