You need to go on game day. You're in a town that has 45k college students when school is in session. Of course it's dead during the summer. That's what I said.....Lubbock, the town, is a dump. I'm sure it's cool when all the people that don't actually live there show back up. You sure talk a lot trash!

Why would you go back voluntarily? The actual city is like mini Detroit You still complaining about not finding you a fat buffalo heifer? Come on down to San Angelo, they every where down here, bring a trailer and we can load a bunch up and you can haul them home.

Been many times when my oldest daughter and son in law went to Tech there. They both graduated from there in 97. I liked the town, small town atmosphere but hated the flatness.

Wife graduated from TTU and I used to drive out there every other weekend. I was usually drunk on Broadway the majority of the time. I like Lubbock.
