Been many times when my oldest daughter and son in law went to Tech there. They both graduated from there in 97. I liked the town, small town atmosphere but hated the flatness.

Wife graduated from TTU and I used to drive out there every other weekend. I was usually drunk on Broadway the majority of the time. I like Lubbock.
