I guess we all know they are out there, but in all my time on the water at Lake Worth this is the only time I have seen one. H was about 3 feet from nose to tail... Made me wonder where momma was. He certainly wasn't shy... Anyone else see any bigger than this? this was in the North East part of the lake...

Last year, saw one about 6 ft long in the river.

Theres a few pushing 9ft out there... last year I saw them more at the mouth of the river where as in years past it was usually up by the blue hole. I keep waiting to see one with a hog in its mouth.

Theres a few pushing 9ft out there... last year I saw them more at the mouth of the river where as in years past it was usually up by the blue hole. I keep waiting to see one with a hog in its mouth. Saw one in May half way to the nature center. Couldnt get a great picture but it was well over 8. Tried to chase it down but it kept going under.

I am from up north... which would probably explain why I can't catch fish in this dingy water 1, but 2, why I post a picture of a 3 foot alligator like it is something lol... A 9 foot gator I would of had my little boat up on plane and out...paddling. So the blue hole, you said that once, I thought you were joking.. that is actually a thing out there?

Come on down to Choke Canyon and I'll show a couple at 18 to 20 feet. Got to see one pull a deer off the bank that was getting a drink of water early one morning. We were in a 18 foot boat and he was every bit of 18 if not more. One more thing, be fishing a cove and have one float to the top next to the boat and stare you in the eye. I just about soiled myself that day.

Yes, the blue hole is real... its a LONG way up the river.
