Need some pointers on decent size cats. I can go and catch several dinks but never have any luck with anything of size. Where are you guys going? Baits? What to look for on the water. I'm looking to catch 3pounders and up. Good eating size I guess. These little 10inchannel cats are not what I'm wanting to catch.

good luck on this, ever since they changed the daily limit to fifty and no size limit, it gone down hill. I quit fishing for them here. this used to be a great lake for 1 1/2 to 3 lbers.

I've always done really well in the northern timber in the spring and fall. When I go. Fresh shad.
