Hello, have an older charger need some help. so bank one just stays at yellow indicator light, won't go to green. Re-did connections, same. tried the second bank, but the wires we cut. so it got me thinking about are the wire connections correct. I have black to neg, and white to pos. what is the green wire, temp? is that supposed to be tied into one of the wires? couldn't find info at minnkota.com

Is that the 120 V connection exiting the charger? If so standard female electric 3 way connector.

I just went thru this. The green wire is the 'intelligence (temp/trickle/etc.' to the charger. It must be connected properly or the battery will be overcharged. If you have cut below the bulge in the wires leading to the pos/neg post or too close to bulge on the other side, then the bulge must be replaced. It is part 2373225. It comes with everything needed including decent instructions, which are too small to read. A magnifying glass helps though. Google the part - include Minn Kota for better hits.
