Got a call last night from my BIL in Austin. They were planning a family trip to the Aransas Pass / Rockport area, but said all the fishing piers had washed out during Harvey. Long story short, he's a wanting to take the grandsons fishing where they can catch some fish. So I suggested finding a crappie barge somewhere. After a few Google searches, I decided to bring the question to the experts. Can you guys put up some names and locations of crappie barges across Texas. I know some kiddos that would really appreciate it!

Thanks!!

There is a crappie barge on Lake Eddleman North of Graham off Hwy. 380. Its probably 4 miles out of town and there is a city owned camp ground right off the highway before you get to the turnoff. The campground has RV hookups or tent camping either one. You can see the crappie house from the campground across the cove. Oh yeah the fish are bitting

I fish on the edge and stay out of the middle

Not crappie fishing but if you are looking for something along the coast, the Indianola Fishing Marina is a great place to take kids. Fishing is good day and night under the lights for trout, reds and other salt water species. I put the website info below.

I'm not OP but thanks for posting this place. I never knew it existed. This looks like a great place to take the kiddo.
