With the recent chatter about livewell additives, what is the best livewell plan for a coangler fishing in tourneys? If the one brand is perceived as possibly not mixing well with oxygenaters, does that mean a CO needs to go Gjuice or at least ask the boater if PPM is ok? Could this potential issue be solved if coangler mixed some PRM the night before in a water bottle in hopes of it dissolving? Will some boaters discourage use of store bought ice?

Please answer on basis that boater will not have anything but normal recirculating.

Is bringing a 20lb bag with additive the best plan? Fill my well and offer the rest to boater?

Lets have it. Im a CO this weekend at Pines. Could be offshore.

When I have co-anglers in my boat, I have always provided the fish care program I prefer to my co-angler.

In fact, I would rather take care of it for him/her than have him/her spilling stuff in my boat.

I agree. You can throw a bottle in your tackle bag and ask to use it if your boater doesn't have a plan or program of his own.

I will be at Pines this weekend as well. I carry a bottle of Please Release Me in my gear. I will always ask permission before I use it in case the boater is particular about fish care products. I have a small sample bottle of G Juice as well. If they are okay with PRM, I will ask if they want some on their side as well.

Nothing too big for us. ABA open series. Johnsons. Maybe 50-70 boats.

As a Boater I have 2 separate livewells, so I don't care what the co uses, its his fish. For boats with shared livewells your treating all fish make sure you talk to your boater.
