COE contracts everything out, why they cant do it themselves ive never understood. In peacetime, I would think they would be looking for things to do to keep sharp. I guess they figure since they built the lakes, someone else should maintenance them.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Think they will leave it the way it is? lol Nope, I talked to the guys and the ranger. They are making their way around the lake and doing first class work. They had to go get some more tools and supplies for this one. Lake Lavon level varies as much as 20 + feet up and down and is hell on those floating docks and all the rigging to hold them. Full on drought one year and Flood stage 2 years later. Back and forth.

Do not see that sight often at all! Side Note: I personally have only seen it once. It was when the Army Corp.Of Engineers was dong repair work on a floating dock at the Cranes Mill boat ramp on Canyon Lake many years ago!
IGFA World Record Rio Grande Cichlid. Lake Dunlap. John 3:16 Sinner's Prayer. God forgive me a sinner. I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior !

Good to see that on Lavon! Hopefully more things will become upgraded soon.

Glad to see the COE giving Lavon some very much needed and deserved repairs.
