I believe it is a very individual thing. What is tasty and satisfying to some is unpleasant and inedible to someone else. Eat what you like and others can do the same. Its not a competition.

I like the kind of hot that adds flavor to food. Just hot enough to make you want to take a drink
and gets a few beads of sweat in your forehead. To me hot should not be the flavor but adds to the flavor itself.
