If you were going to buy a used Ranger Boat 2013-2015 Would you have the Z520 or the Z521?

I just got into a Z521L from a Legend V20 and love it, if it is an option I would go with the 521, the little bit of speed loss you will have compared to the extra deck space and storage is well worth it to me. JMO

I would say 521.

I have limited time in a 520 and extensive time in the 521. I've never thought "I wish this boat was a foot shorter and a little faster." The extra storage box in front of the driver console and the extra cooler are worth it.

The question seems to be more about boat size. Since those are both big boats, bigger isn�t always better, but in some circumstances it may be. Think about the amount people who might fish in it a once, the lakes you fish, your boat storage size, your style of fishing, etc.. In the end you�ll be happy with both but one might cause you a little less hassle.
