Ill be heading to lake Lavon this weekend. Its my first time to go. Where is it safe run? Where are the underwater hazards.

I saw this post a little to late - but I hope you had a good time on the water. For the most part, lavon is pretty clear. Best advice is to just use common sense, don't run on plain going through a bunch of submerged trees roflmao and be mindful that you're on new *to you* water. Lavon is a fairly shallow lake (mostly just the north end), so just keep an eye on your depth.

I've been fishing lavon since I was a little kid and the only real danger is in between the island and mainland on the south east side of the lake (at the actual main fork of the lake). I've personally watched MULTIPLE boats run through their on plane and gouge their hulls or destroy their lower units. It's really not a shortcut, just go around the island and don't take the chance thumb
