Anyone else notice that the level of the lake is significantly lower than it was a week ago? As in the lake has dropped AT LEAST 2 feet. Fishing seems to have turned off because of it. Anyone been having luck lately this week?

We were blessed with a good year this past year in regards to lake levels(I'm not talking to you guys west of the DFW area ). Even entered the summer in real good overall shape but that's changing fast. They are starting to drop. We need rain! Save this link for up to date lake levels: http://www.lakelevels.info/USA/Texas/

There was a rise. There may have been. My boat was out of commission for about a week. What I do know is that between when I fished last week and when I fished last night there is significant less shoreline in my normal spots. Around 2 feet low by my estimation. Fished the dam last night and you could hear the water being let out.

Not sure if it is related but i did actually notice some brush from the Eldorado Bridge that i haven't noticed before. It was almost in the middle of the lake off the left side of the bridge heading east.

You guys have to share a little... I am not on the pattern. Are they shallow? Went out last saturday and caught only two little dinks. Mostly fished deep stuff.

They are shallow but you gotta be in key areas with rock. I am finding better fish deep though - not as a whole but as a majority.
If you can't find em wind em.
