Speaking of hand shakes, how about those dudes that have read or been to a Zig Ziegler seminar? They try to turn your hand to show dominance. I quickly turn it back. Does anyone know what Im talking about or is that my mind wondering? Yea I was taught that in a profiling class, Palm down in a hand shake is them asserting dominance, owner of the company I work for does it, drives me nuts. Jack King? That ain't from Ziggy!!

i quit shaking hands a couple of years ago fist bumps are fine Yeah, when I was a consulting, I bet I shook a hundred plus richards. The first thing a salesman would do was pull on location, take a leak beside their pickup, and then come to the door and want to shake my hand. No thanks. I think youre doing something wrong if youre actually shaking Richards. Thats not how this whole deal is supposed to happen.

If you can't shake my hand the right way then I'm walking out.

If you can't shake my hand the right way then I'm walking out. Had a few hand shaking seminars with my boys. I think its very important for a man to shake another mans hand probably, especially when first meeting someone. First impressions stick.

Went to a furniture store and greeted the customer . Went for a good old fashioned firm handshake and a hello. He went for it with his left hand and grabbed my hand like a princess and I was confused so I just shook it up and down like normal . It was weird. Maybe he missed his target. I hate when that happens. You go in looking for a hardy palm-busting shake, but he locks down a split second too soon, gets nothing but your fingers, and you're left standing there shaking hands like a woman. Accuracy and timing are crucial, and occasional mistakes are inevitable. You did say he went in southpaw, though...which is highly suspect.

He was saving his right hand for later.
