I've heard the Sure life products and oxygenators don't mix well. They make oxygen through electrolysis (?) and it breaks down the salt NaCl and makes chlorine in your water. True? false

That's what my salt pool chlorinator does. But, it has electronics in it, maybe putting out a much higher voltage.

The oxygenator will do the same thing if there is salt in the water. Some additives contain salt also. Just something to watch out for when using those things. Atleast the package says it will, I never tested it

I have had a bad experience with Please release me, TXTT championship at Rayburn my partner and I catch 5 fish early and start runnng the livewell non-stop. I put Please release me in the livewell and all fish are swimming and healthy 10 minutes later we have two floating belly up dying what did I do wrong? The next day after our limit fish we just ran the livewell non-stop and they all lived.

Yes I used the right amount. Could have been something else and it was just coincidence that it was the day I first tried using the stuff. I've never had a problem keeping fish alive using untreated water so I'm sticking with it. Bullet live wells are big and deep!

I use Sure Life Products religiously and have even accidentally dumped 3 or 4 times the normal dose with no issues. If it would have been the additive I would think all the fish would have died, but thats a weird deal for sure. Just from reading this thread the competition is doing a good job of trying to pull market share... all kinds of incorrect information floating around. When in doubt email or call Sure Life and get it straight from the man.

We use only catch and release with great results. Added pure oxygen system and fish are released in better shape than when caught. Sure life product didn't kill anyone's fish...
