There were a few guys on here asking about the lake so I figured I'd make a small report. Let me start off by saying its fishing really well, As of late Ive found them on docks , timber and brush. And I don't fish them much but I bet the bridges will be holding fish as well. If you want numbers docks is your best bet.
In my last 2 Trips there Ive caught fish on docks from 7'-30ish' , Just find a shady dock and fire away!

The Facebook page "crappie fishing fools" hosted a Tournament and GTG yesterday on the lake and my partner Tom and I were Fortunate enough to take top spot! Out of our best 7 two of them came from docks and the other five came from submerged timber.
Lake Granbury will soon be in my line up of lakes I guide on, if any of you guys are wanting to load up the cooler or do some dock shooting give a shout!

Granbury was the first lake I fished when I moved to Texas! We lived in Acton and I could be at fhe dam in 5 minutes! Talk about a surprise for a boy used to cypress stained water from Louisiana to show up on lake Granbury! I can see that being a good crappie lake though.
