Ultra-Realistic Swimbait Designed to Dominate Atlantic Predators
New LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerel Swimbait Doesnt "Tinker" Around

Juvenile mackerel, known as tinkers, are some of the most popular live baits for pelagic saltwater species, particularly oversized striped bass. Light tackle anglers live-line tinkers around shallow rocks or subsurface ledges, casting the small mackerel overboard and letting the speedy, erratic bait do the rest. Indeed, during the brief window when tinker mackerel are abundant, gathering and then presenting these live baitfish to schooling stripers is practiced with due fervor all along the New England seaboard.

But what happens as striper season wears on, and the tinkers inevitably disappear?
The artisans and engineers at LIVETARGET have devised the perfect solution to this annual conundrum an artificial lure so lifelike in appearance and action, that youll soon be leaving your live-lining gear at home.

To be introduced at ICAST 2018, the LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerel Swimbait combines biologically precise anatomical features and color patterns with biomimetic action and robust saltwater components to create a new standard in artificial lures for striped bass. Unique three-dimensional anatomical features, including fins, tail, head and eyes, couple with a true-to-life baitfish profile to synthesize the perfect illusion of a living mackerel.

The LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerels intelligently engineered tail oscillator generates a unique, tinker mackerel-inspired swimming action and vibration that elicits hot pursuit and violent strikes from striped bass and other briny mackerel-munchers. Precision factory rigging ensures that the bait is ready to use immediately, achieving better balance without the need for frequent adjustment or tuning.

To make each cast or trolling pass as productive as possible, the LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerels unique dorsal fin doubles as a shield to protect the robust, extra wide gap saltwater hook from collecting vegetation, flotsam and jetsam. Looking to accessorize? The swimbait also features a ventral-side accessory pin for convenient on-the-water customization using willow leaf attractor blades or even a secondary hook. Good luck trying that with a live tinker!

To be revealed to the striper-chasing public at ICAST 2018, the LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerel swimbait will be available in two lengths and weights (6 and 1 3/8 oz, or 7 and 2 3/8 oz) and two ultra-realistic color patterns that are sure to turn saltwater predator heads: a natural Silver/Blue as well as attention-grabbing Silver/Blue/Green, which precisely mimics the appearance of a tinker mackerel under stress. LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerel swimbaits will be available in late fall 2018, with MSRP $12.49-$13.49.

Visit us in booth 2508 at ICAST 2018 for your first look at the new standard in lures for striped bass: the LIVETARGET Atlantic Mackerel swimbait.
