Going to fish Pines this weekend. Putting in at 155. Never been on the lake. So how do you fish the North end? Not wanting spots or anything just wondering what lures or baits I should use. Thanks

Only the best fish that swim, carp and buffalo! wink

Catch and release. The dream - to catch one of every species of Freshwater fish in our great state! If only I can resist Carp...

Lots of pads up North, so start with frogs or buzz baits early. Weigh-less later, watermelon seed or green pumpkin works best for me. White flukes also work well around the pads.

I live on the Pines and when I am out crappie fishing , I have been seeing lots of folks catching ditch pickles in the main lake off the brush piles with crank baits.

That is Not the north end but info none the less.
Good luck

Be careful and wear your life jacket, there has already been 3 drownings this year.
