I thought it was a pretty smart move. thumb

I still use an original Bingham's Check-It Stick I bought right after they came on the market back in the 80's! Bullet proof and accurate. My local game warden saw it in my boat recently and really got excited that it was an original. I'd think if the game warden likes them then that might affect my decision.

Note: The game warden will usually let you use your own rule to check a fish. If it's short then it's a stupid user problem!

I still use an Extra edge board I bought years ago, real good board, don't think they make them anymore but you can occasionally find a used extra edge board or balance beams for sale.

Prorule for sure.

If you ever step on a check it stick it will never be straight again.

No tournament I have seen has used a golden rule...most seem to use prorule.

I got a text about this during the weigh in a few weeks ago.

Pro Rule is the best for sure.
