I have owned 3 Tundras since 2000 and none of them were stellar fuel economy performers, but that was not the reason I bought them. I knew they were a little thirsty. Of the 3 I have owned, not one of them has ever been back to the dealer except to be traded in. Reliability is more important to me than a few mpg. Everyone has to decide what is right for them.

Musta been pulling a trailer loaded with fords and chevys. No one in their right mind buys a Tundra for mpg. You buy one cause you know it’s gonna last. I bought one last August and it’s hands down the best truck I’ve ever owned, and I’ve had all of them. I don’t know why I waited as long as I did to buy one.
