I thought all the F150's had a timing chain?

Everything I have read says timing belt('s) it has two of them one for each overhead cam.

I also thought it was suppose to be a twin turbo engine, but the last article I read about it said it had a single variable geometry turbo.

Thought we were talking about the 3.0 powerstroke diesel?

I did read that link. I find it funny they say the 3.0 powerstroke is built on the legacy of the 6.7 powerstroke when in reality its a rebranded land rover engine lol the marketing guys really got ahold of that one.

After a lot of research, and test drives, I decided to buy a nicely equipped 3.5 ecoboost with max tow package. I got it for less that what my local dealer wanted for a new 2017 model of the Ram EcoDiesel.

When I was shopping for mine that is what my two options were. I decided to go with the one that would do what I needed and get better mileage. No doubt the 3.5 ecoboost is a much more powerful faster power plant and im going to say has had fewer growing pains than the ecodiesel, I just wasn't willing to give up the 30 mpg aspect.

Hope its a good one for you, I sometimes wonder if I made the right choice or not. My BIL bought a new 3.5 ecoboost the same week I bought my ecodiesel, they are both nice trucks.
