I will be heading to Lake Buchanan for 2 weeks and staying at a house in Maxwells Slough. not real familiar with the lake and was wondering if anyone has any reports or can tell me where i should go to try and find some stripers or sandbass

Sandies just about anywhere. They are schooling up on top like crazy. For Stripes target trees along the River channel in 50-60ft of water. Fish are in the trees. You can find huumps and edges close to the trees even better.

I guess we were in the wrong places on Saturday because i never saw a sandy surface.

I guess we were in the wrong places on Saturday because i never saw a sandy surface. i will be there for 10 days so hopefully we can find something

anyone have any updated reports. will be heading to Buchanan this friday till next friday Lot of good fish being caught right now. Most of the guides that went out this weekend all limited on most of their trips. Heard bait is tough up at the north end of lake.
