Hey Jamie, are you trying to get more records than me???? What's up with that!!!!! I may have to come down there and break your rods as well as your arms and legs!!!  Just kidding, keep up the great work bro!! I guess you're going to have to come fishing up here in order to break most of my state records, I'll even show you where I caught them.

I don't feel bad at all, I'm very happy for him. Records a great hobby and I hope he gets plenty more. It doesn't bother me in the least when he breaks my records, I'd rather he do it than someone else.

Laker, I was catching most of the fish on a black / chartreuse rubber legged dragon on Cibolo and a crawfish colored rubber legged dragon on Dunlap. As always, the yellow Llano bug also worked well. Black/Chartreuse and Brown are the colors that get the best results on Dunlap and Mcqueeney! I also have a Ladybug Fly for both top water and sinking. During the early spring and fall I get pretty good results with it both fishing it on top and sinking it. Red/Yellow,Red/Black,Red/White,and just Red all get good results. It's funny during the summer and winter months I can't buy a bite using the Ladybug!  Very interesting, I don't ever use red on my flies. I guess I need to tie up some flies with red in them for the Spring and Fall. Thanks for the information. You should do well! Also throw a Brown Salamander (sinking).

Thanks Laker, I couldn't find a sinking lady bug fly so I had to make one up from a deer hair beetle pattern. I researched the brown salamander patterns and they are all really big. I'll have to come up with something for this pattern too.
