For those that Have used them, what's your opinion? Pretty much for bottom contact baits. Looking at the Helium 3 and KLX line from Kistler. Thanks for any help.

I prefer the NRX, most sensitive rod out there in my opinion.

I like my NRX, I have the Carolina model and the JWR (for TX rig) model. No issues at all with either one.

I love the Helium 3s, my son and I both use one for Carolina rigs. We like them so much weve bought several others. I dont have an NRX though, Im sure they are great also. Helium 3s are hard to beat in my opinion for the money. I live close to Kistler and its nice to be able to drive over to their factory and pick out what I want.

Either. I have a few klx's and h3's. I'm happy with them. Different rod companies offer slightly different actions/powers/lengths. I pretty much look at falcon caras, alx or kistler and pick what I need. They're all in that $ range and made in america

Kistler makes a fine rod, that's for sure. But the Helium and KLX really don't compare to an NRX. The Z-Bone is close to the NRX, but the NRX edges it slightly. That being said, I really do like Kistler rods.

I'll take Kistler Z-bones for bottom contact fishing. Helium3 & KLX are also fine rods and just a small step down from the Z-bones.
I have all three Kistler rods and some Feel n Reel rods.

And all these Kistler rods are feathery light.

I have some of both. I like the Kisler rods pretty good but the NRX is in a class all by itself IMO. For football jigs, c rigs, deep T rigs, etc. there is no rod better that I have found and I have tried a lot of them. They are proud of them though. But you can find a good deal on them from time to time and they are worth the money if you are structure Fishing.

Whoops I was thinking of the imx. I've only fished a handful of nrx's and agree they're in a different league. Out of my price range.

Kistler, even when comparing the nrx. I have one and am always babying it.

Never fished an NRX. The Kistler KLX, H3 and ZBones are awesome rods. No need to baby them. Have a couple dozen of them and have for years.

The price of admission is mighty steep but there's NRX and then there's everything else.
