I was reading some posts that the Whitney bite had been slow with the full moon. Has it recovered? Are the fish all deep now or still coming up top?

We were out on Tuesday, from about 5 pm until dusk. Lots of surface activity in the Towash Creek area. Sand bass and small stripers. Two of us caught around 50 or so, brought home 8 nice sandies in the 14-15" range, released the rest.

Whitney treated us very well yesterday. All fish on live bait 76' - 38' of water.

The live bait never really slowed down. The slab, jig and spoon bite quit for me. Start looking around the river channel ledges.

The live bait guys are getting them steady. we fished topwater this morning for a couple of hours and had lots of action on small stripers and whites. boxed two keeper stripers and a few large white bass, released a bunch. started at towash and followed the schools up to fraiser creek. wind clocked from south to northeast and the show was over for us.
