I have a 2000 175 EFI that trims up and down fine yet if idiling and trimming motor down hear a clicking noise. Don’t hear it if trimming while stationary. Curious if anyone has run into this and if it’s a early sign of trim motor going out? Thanks for any insight.

Put a dab of grease on the end of your trim rams.

Put a dab of grease on the end of your trim rams. +1, I hit mine with silicone spray now and then. Grease might be better.
